Would an atheist sell their soul to the devil to prove religion wrong?

Thursday, September 2nd, 2010

A lot of atheists are always trying to tell religious people that they are wrong or dumb for believing in a God or an afterlife, or the most common, tell them they can’t prove that a God exists. It just seems like they are bullies, trying to put believers down. If they really wanted to show the believers that there is no afterlife, why not sell their soul to the devil? Then they will have proved themselves right for sure, and since they don’t believe in Hell, they wouldn’t have to fear any repercussions, right? They would win both ways at this. If they are right, then they have proven themselves to all believers. If they are wrong, then whatever they sold their soul for will have come into their life…. then again, they suffer in Hell for all eternity, and that is no win no matter how you see it… but being an atheist, you would have called it a coincidence. So how about it? Any takers? You can have the life you always dream of, or you can prove all believers that come in contact with you wrong.
For the record, I align myself as neither atheist, nor believer. A wonderer if you will. I don’t know, what is out there, or what is not. But there is one way to find out.
You guys are funny to me as I am funny to you. I do see my question doesn’t make sense now. hahaha. but still, you can sell your “imaginary soul”, to the “imaginary devil”, and burn in “imaginary hell” for eternity. It seems pointless, but do it in front of a believer. They will never talk to you about religion again. (I know, terrible attempt to redeem myself)
Bernie has got my best vote so far. For sure. Just read his answer and give him a thumbs up.
He might have been pretty harsh to Pearl, but other than that, admire his atheistic dedication. I give a round of applause.

Do you think that a world without God and without the Devil would be a much better world?

Thursday, September 2nd, 2010

Perhaps a Paradise? If so, what we have to do is to get rid of those two and everything will be fine.
I have just erased those two troublemakers from my mind and I urge you to do the same for the sake of happiness on earth.

Thanks for your courage.

would a couple go to hell if they are having sex outside of marriage?

Wednesday, August 18th, 2010

Lets say this couple does not believe in marriage, and they love Jesus. They just see marriage as a useless piece of crap. lets say this couple do not marry and live with each other outside of marriage, and grow old together and die in each others arms in love…..would the grace of Jesus be with them, or does this couple have to be married in order to get into heaven?

and if you answer they have to be married…..what is so evil about their love that God would hate them to throw them into hell?

how long do you think religion would have lasted without the devil?

Monday, July 26th, 2010

… i say lasted because i think, without an intrinsic fear of burning alive for eternity, the practice of christian/muslim religions would have fizzled out a long time ago. or if they were still around, nobody would take it seriously. so, just how much has lucifer done for the cause?
judaism lasts because it is an ethnic religion. however, its numbers are dwindling. there are loads of atheists in israel, and all over for that matter, but they still call themselves jews.

What would you think of a man who satisfied his thirst for revenge as the church teaches God does with hell?

Sunday, May 9th, 2010

How is eternal, infinite hell a just recompense for finite temporal sins? Explain that too.

Hans Kung (1928 – ? ) is a Catholic priest, an eminent Swiss theologian, and a prolific author asked the question this way, “What would we think of a human being who satisfied his thirst for revenge as the church depicts God does with an eternal hell”?

There’s simply no rational way to answer that!

Explain to me how this shows for the moral goodness of God.
