There are lots of myths and biblical facts surrounding the Devil. What do you think is the most accurate description of the Devil and where does it come from?

I have a debate going and I wanted to know the difference in shows and how they prepare contestants to be a better chef. Hell’s Kitchen is more like a boot camp where Top Chef teaches contestants how to cooks different types of foods from different regions. So my question is, who would be the better chef (HK or TC) and what is the difference between the 2 shows.

if in fact he died for our sins ?
The Bible says the wages of sin is death , which is exactly what Jesus did–died.
So how can people be eternally tortured in Hell if Jesus paid the price for us ?
Is Jesus presently being eternally tortured in place of those who accepted Him as Lord?

Seems a bit odd in the reasoning that Hell would torture souls sent there by Heaven. Seems since heaven and hell are at odds, any souls rejected by heaven should be welcomed in hell. I dont get why hell would want to cause pain to its faithful fallen ones.
What do you think? Is hell a place that purifies souls of evil through torture so they might one time, be fit to enter heaven?

Jesus Christ supposedly lived thousands of years ago, so none of us knew Him personally, and none know Him now. Therefore, although there are many notable stories in the Bible about His works, we may not know of Jesus’ other deeds which some may’ve chosen to edit out of the popular history.
If Jesus did in fact have one or more homosexual experiences which were not chronicled in the Bible, what would religions of today prescribe as His punishment? Would He, too, be damned to hell for his non-missionary carnal acts like many of his brethren and sistern today?

Why would someone choose to worship evil instead of good? What do they have to gain by worshipping evil? Do satanists actually believe the devil will reward them for being evil?

Evil things are done because human being have free will and they choose to do them, right? What does ‘the devil’ have to do with it? How does his existence or lack thereof affect the choices that people make?
