Jinns are smokeless fire, so they wouldn’t burn the bush Moses spoke with. So, if Moses was speaking with this ‘smokeless fire that didn’t consume the bush,’ how can we be sure it wasn’t a bunch of Jinns sitting in a bush and Moses was seeing in the spirit that day? This would explain the deception of religion because it may have been given by the devil. And then we, as extremely naive humans, take this crap to heart? WTF. Lets trash all the religions that start with Moses because it was most likely given by Jinns.

Of course, it is a metaphor. Since fire is the element that cleanse and purify, I believe we will be sent to a place for purification. Maybe hell is here on Earth and our hardships in life are the fire that purifies our spirits. Therefore, when Bible says that if we do wrong we will be sent to hell and burn in fire, we will actually be born again to learn, that means purify.
I think Reincarnation is the answer.
What do you think?

In case it turns out to be true that only one religion is the true one, that will mean that over 5 billion people will go to hell.
What a scary scenario and what a God of love.

Why is fire and heat always associated with Hell? I think fire is the most important and beneficial discovery ever. We use it to cook, get power, in medicine, and without it, we wouldnt be where we are today. I certainly don’t think its a bad thing, so why do we think of fire when we think of Hell? It could just as well have been a blistering cold place, which is more viable since more people die from the cold than from the heat.

Even so, it is a terrifying thought. What if I am wrong and hell is eternal for humans as well.

I can understand that there are many good and bad atheists and agnostics alike. So I am not surprised to find some atheists who used abusive language (which I don’t agree). But to find an abusive Christian is contracdictory. What’s wrong with being a truth seeker ? Why do some Christians threaten others with hell for asking an opinion or having a different opinion ?
